Seriously doubt that Pryce's renewed contract last year entitles him to a wedge of cash... and for that fact Coley who came from Salford and didnt have many interested parties.

Fielden is the obvious one and Sean is a higher earner.

Again to the best of my knowledge, Fielden and Gleeson are the 2 biggest earners. Coley on a 12 month renegotiated contracted by IFL is not likely to be a huge earner whilst Lockers deserves every penny he gets but I don't think his salary is anything silly. It might be a tad under what he is worth.

Well I recon it will be true. Work the maths. SC 1.6m quarter 400k Fielden 200k coley /pryce £150k (CP's fiures) only keave 50k for Lockers. Reduce Fielden to boost Lockers and you have your quarter cap..

Last year Lockers was on 110K. In his first year at the club Fielden was getting 2K per week. What he gets now? I will hold my hands up. I once thought he was on 200K but in that first year you are looking at 104K

As Jim says 1.6m does not require that many top players before their salaries = 1/4 of the cap. So maybe the thread creator is being given a tad harsh time.

What tends to happen is that the players at the lower end receive very little. For example J.Walker is being paid 15K this year for a full time contract.
