We've got to be totally fair now, the RFL are changing what they're doing week by week at the moment, it's damn near impossible to keep track on what's going on in addition to everything else you need to remember as a player.

The "the RFL have announced this week that they're clamping down on...." thing just proves to me that the "Professional Body" regulating the sport are about as professional as road kill.
Exactly the point I'm getting at. Nobody knows which way a referal to the panel will go these days. If the players leg was off the floor (I don't know for definite at the moment if it was or not) then how can they ban him? However, if John Wilkin has had the broom handle removed from his arse then he may ring them up and get him another two matches.

I'll send my neighbours your way when they complain at my loud laugh so late.

Reading up on RLFans they're saying Lima's tackle started high and slipped down, and as soon as he slipped, he let go. Watched the game down the pub, and dont have Sky+ to watch it over and over.

I just think peeps need to give the lad a break. No, he's not the human wrecking ball that we thought he was going to be, but he's been instrumental in alot of winning plays this season.

Lima did nothing more than complete the tackle, third man in on a player that was upright and still moving.
If Leeds want to play wendyball, they are welcome to it. This is Rugby League, a full contact sport. if they don't want to play, we won't force them too. If they do, they need to grow a pair and play the game!

No different to most tackles in the game. Like already said, he let go once slipped down the legs in the tackle, another biased sin bin incident! On report would of been for any other team, and even then would not of made the committee

just a comment Wigan didn't apeal against Limas 2 match ban because they thought he got off lightly with 2 matches.

we'll have to wait and see what happens on Monday/Tuesday. And if he gets a ban, yes it should be contested, especially if Cross doesn't get cited for "Striking a player (Lima) in the back of the head".

It was nice to see, though, our boys working together to diffuse these brawls now... it's okay Stu (Cummings), we'll do your job for ya!

Indeed they didn't appeal, but you'll remember that they also said they weren't going to appeal as long as The RFL remained fair and consistent.

Yes, the ban was correct for Lima there, BUT identical incidents have gone unpunished. I beleive that is why Joel's ban was contested. If it were me, i'd have said "cheers RFL, proved us right then" and would be appealing everything, if nothing else but to waste the panel's sodding time.

Would Lima have been sinbinned if Leeds players didn't run in afterwards? Genuine question because I didn't see the offence, cheers KW.

yea G, did seem that the incident was overlooked until Cross ran in. Dicky asked his touch for his view on what happened, and the touch threw Lima under the bus. I am rather annoyed that Cross wasn't binned or Put On Report for running in and punching in an incident that didnt concern him, and will be EXTREMELY annoyed if he's not pulled up in front the beak on Tuesday.

Thanks mate, its certainly sending out the wrong message if nothing is said. They did a fair bit of niggling at times and considering the stick we get we held it together pretty well. Maybe firing in is the best policy?
