Lima's an idiot

Deserves the ban he'll get. Over-rated and over-priced thug really.

:( Very OTT folks. Far too quick to write off players and demand heads to roll etc

Not saying his head should roll, it was just a really cheap shot and not something that Madge should tolerate, let alone the RFL.

Hu?? Deserves a ban? It was an error of judgement. He went in at the legs, a tactic we, and every other team, often employ, but he went in slightly too late, and took the legs wrong... Watch the replays and you'll see that as soon as he realises he lets go. Not a thug, not an idiot, just a mistake.

I suppose Cross from Leeds is an innocent by-stander in starting 3 brawls?!?

Cross is an idiot ; if Lima's effort was mis-timed or mis-judged then he needs to sort it out, third man in on a stationary player makes them very vulnerable.

The problem is, he got two matches for very inocuous looking challenges after the Saints match.
If, as Hemmings said, they are having a clampdown on tackling the stationary leg (on the quick replay, I thought his leg was off the floor),then we could be looking at another ban.
“Usually the fans that abuse players like Sam have never done anything of any note themselves. They’re nobodies, whose greatest claim to fame is abusing someone who has, and these so-called ‘Eddie the Experts’ pretend to their mates that they have."

if you look again at the tackle he didnt take the standing leg he took the leg that was up in the air.

Mr silverwood was all to quick to take his touch judges veiw than letting play carry on and putting the incident on report.

Indeed he did get 2 matches, but we've got to look at the consistencies in the RFL Disciplinary. Identical challenges get let off scott free. Now we've cleaned up the game tremendously this season, and that's great to see.

We've got to be totally fair now, the RFL are changing what they're doing week by week at the moment, it's damn near impossible to keep track on what's going on in addition to everything else you need to remember as a player.

The "the RFL have announced this week that they're clamping down on...." thing just proves to me that the "Professional Body" regulating the sport are about as professional as road kill.
