I agree
part of the Twitter generation! Shd ask Mike to set up a '140 character' area on here for the more 'attention deficient' among us. #justsayin

On numerous occasions last night we had the chance to spread the ball and create an overlap out wide but Finch went for the short ball to the player who is usually the dummy runner. It shows either a lack of confidence from Finch or a lack of cohesion but it's something that will hopefully improve as he keeps playing. Towards the end of the game he looked a much improved player.
rewatching the last 20 minutes 3 times! I finally saw Finchs pass to Sam who put Joel away at the end, half the width of the pitch and straight into Sams hands.

Sometimes some posts are a bit long & get quite tedious, but still managed to read it. You don't need have a War & Peace type post!

So many players to return and so many to get settled and kicked on. I cannot remember who it was but they said the last 15 minutes from Finch was class. Finchy is only going to get better. Whatsmore, I was so glad to see Sam chip and chase. Last season IMO the HJ game v Wire and sam's chip/chase was a watershed moment.

2011 will be another great season
To break teams down like Leeds, Wire, Stains & Hudds more of these types of play should be added to our game.
Wire were begging for this to break them down, coming in fast and flat from the fringes.
I wonder why it has taken 8 games to re-introduce it, did Sam just decide to try it on his own, or is it been practiced in training.

I know Josie, I'm the worst for it and wouldn't expect anyone to read my posts lol I just do it to amuse myself, usually when Phoebe's asleep and I'm sick of watching the same crap on telly ;)

As for twitter, I love it. I got randomly tweeted and followed by Ruth Buzzi the other day who's famous for hitting people with handbags and being a shopkeeper in Sesame Street lol, she said she loved me or something ;) oh and Sally Bercow the speaker's wife sends me private messages from time to time, I think I'm in there haha

couldnt agree more with all thats been said(even the missive that almost cured my insomnia)).
We are our own worse enemy at times, we had an awesome, and I think fair to say, unexpectedly brilliant season last year so being CHAMPIONS is going to add pressure, lets just remember strong players out injured, the return of Hock yet to come and with a game in hand and the stats looking favourable lets all(as they say in this side of the water) calm down calm down and get settled for whats going to be another awesome Wigan year.

One additional point, we would be on the same points as Saints and 2 clear of Leeds with a game in hand on both, if we had taken the 2 points in the first half, like the management team wanted. Instead the players were a bit too eager to run it. Surely they must have known this was likely to be a close game, and to take the points when you can.
