Josh Charnley

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

The old saying about form being temporary, whilst class is forever springs to mind. We've lost Joe Burgess due to incompetent contract negotiations and if we lose Josh, someone at the club needs their head examined.

With Sam back next year and a half decent centre, Josh will be back to what he was in no time.

Problem is Jobo, once you are done; form or class matters not. Currently, Josh is done unless he gets himself fitter and faster.

TBH think we lost Joe to the life style he thinks he may get.As others have said Josh has not done enough to warrant a better contract.

Your last bit I agree with you totally. He is not the player of 2 years ago so how can he be paid the same as he is on now. If he wants the same or more he needs to be the best winger at the club.

Manfredi looks a long term player for us if Josh can not match him on the field then he needs to go.

But if he gets his form sorted and plays like he did then he is as good as any winger in the game. But past glories can not carry a player. And that where people like Koukash comes in and pays more for a player that is not as good as he was.

Still think he could come again for us but if he wants more for less then sorry he needs to go.

Tomkins was the third highest tackle maker for Wigan last night and second highest metre maker in the forwards. He and Liam Farrell were superb.

You cannot walk in anywhere and say I was poor these last 12 months, so bad a younger employee was better than me BUT I want a pay rise!

Anybody care to try it this week?

Architect of his own downfall by thinking and behaving like Charlie Bigtime. He's openly spoken out about the club at certain times whilst Wane has done the same about him.
Seems a case of dumb and dumber with no winner.
The big problem is no cover although I'm sure there'll be somebody available to play out of position.
Man management skills awesome, indeed.

Jobo is right Fuji, it was contract incompetence with Joe, the lifestyle excuse is just that, a PR excuse.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.

that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
