Josh Charnley

Josh has not signed his contract & could be leaving the club.

Apparently, the club are not wanting to improve his salary! I've heard he's been asked to take a cut!!!

I didn't say he had but he was asked to take a pay cut! Similar situation happened with Goulding!

Very bad news. Fund him a decent centre and I reckon he'll be back in International form in a few weeks. Just goes to show how important Goulding was to josh and the club.

Hi Josh we haven't given you chance to improve and have dropped you for Manfredi at every opportunity this season however due to your form please take a pay cut....

In fairness I hope he stays does amazingly well next year and then asks for a pay rise :p

Dreading Charnley going to another club and getting his form back.
These are two reasons not to trust people.
1. We don't know them.
2. We do know them.

Is he out of contract or is it just a case of trying to renegotiate? We shouldn't allow ourselves to lose a player of his quality without anything behind him. Goulding was a different story as we had Gelling, Sarginson, Thornley, back rowers who could do a passable job and Gildart coming through. We don't have that depth of capable players to cover the wings right now with our best one leaving and no other player who you'd say is a winger first of all that has played in the first team.

I cant imagine how bad a player would feel when asked to take a pay cut, on top of that Wayne has berated him in public constantly, and people wonder why his form has dropped certain idividuals need a cuddle to perform well other need a kick in the ass but a constant kick a no carrot will never work. awesome man management skills at the club at present.

The trouble with Charnley is he needs to spend less time in Nandos stuffing his face with free food he gets from mentioning them constantly on social media, concentrate on getting fit and losing the excess pounds hes gained, decide if he wants to be the next Gok Wan or a pro sportsman and stop hanging around with Callum Best thinking he is a B list celebrity.
He will be at Salford next year, Kashcows poster boy.
