For me our over reliance on the expansive out to the wings way we play is killing us. How many times do Williams and Tommy run the line and have no runners. Our forwards are usually in the line and receive the ball stationary so make hardly any metres forward. To have some of our forwards running on to the ball from depth and running different lines would have two effects.....1. We would make a lot more metres and be able to speed up the play the ball. 2. Tommy and George would have so much more space and time to come up with the right play instead of just running the line waiting to be tackled.
