As I said as regards Marshall, Davies looks like he wants to be at Wigan as does Isa. That is fine by me.
Isa has put in some good performances this season that have gone along way to dispelling my doubts about him and I have no doubts about both wingers anyway. I think they are already playing very well and are exciting to watch.
I think there may also be a sense of realism with both club and players here. Isa knows he's not going to get an NRL gig and I think the same applies to the wingers at this point in time for them at least. That being so there is nothing to stop the club signing them up and paying them what they are worth which won't be an extortionate wage.
While these signings are good what we can't be doing is not competing for players who can command a better wage due to the interest other SL clubs. We can't expect success on the cheap and I will say the same as I said as regards Sam T elsewhere as a general point. That is there are few class players around in SL and if we have any of them, then the club needs to be prepared to pay to keep them. It's competing on a level playing field with other SL clubs so it's not got any excuse not to.
I am sure these three signings have gone down very well across the board. I have not seen one person complain about any of them on here, rlfans or facebook groups (though to be fair I have not looked that hard!). However the club needs to be careful it doesn't spoil it all by failing to tie up the likes of Gildard if they have the opportunity (i.e. its not competing with the NRL).
