Excellent performance, I thought...would have been more convinding wothout Newton's dodgy sin-binning, like you I thought he was already committed. Impressed with all the youngsters, especially Goulding (anyone heard anything about his injury?..not another one, surely?)
MoM for me, Moran...closely followed by Newton. Wild actually impressed me, for a change...especially that chase of their winger...showed what pace he has when he can be bothered. Dallas was sound enough at fullback, again, although as against Salford he wasn't really put under much pressure...he'll find it a lot harder in the next 3 games!
That Scully try? Oh yes!

just seen this on the Sky website...
""I also thought Daryl Goulding did well. That was as good a debut as I've seen from a 17-year-old kid. Unfortunately it looks like he's broken a bone in his ankle, but I'm really looking forward to working with him next year."
Figures!

Good match considering how many youngsters where on the pitch. Aspinwall is prob missing from the MoM as he would never get it thought he was terrible today. I absoluty lover superman Scully's try and great away support. I think about half of todays attendance was Wigan supports
Id say MoM Newton

good game all round thought we should of had a lot more points, our handling still a little pot coyles handling and passing at times a little poor , but over all a really good performance against a team destined 4 relegation,.Millwards game plan is coming to the last time we played widnes beet them with 1 point at jjb, this just shows how far we have gone under millward :eh:

For once i am actually happy with the coverage of this game from the bbc (which is a suprise for me) as it is interrupted and i am very happy with it.
But does ray french no anything? when newton got sent off he said we was down to 10 men (asif football) and called moran "kevin moran"

what a fool.
EDIT: Can anybody tell me how dallas did at full-back?
Your back didnt look to bad when you was playin cricket on the street matey.......
