We do? Where are they hiding? Next season we have on first team recognised centre and he's failed to light up Super League to date.
If we get an injury in the 3/4s or at full back we're relying on Browny to fill in, two injuries and we're relying on youth.
If we have another season with injuries we can kiss goodbye to our chances of SL.

I will be absolutly devastated if Newton goes, he is IMO the best hooker in the country on his day and he is also a local lad who plays with his heart for the club. He gives everything in the match for Wigan becuase he loves the club. Remember the grand final defeat against the Bulls two seasons ago when at the final hooter he broke down and cried his heart out becuase we had lost. Them are the kind of players we need at this club , somebody who as all the commitment of Terry Newton and somebody who also has the talent to match.
If we lose him it will be our loss and certainly Bradfords gain

Chris Ashton, Sean Gleeson, Daryl Goulding, John Walker - 4 centres for you Rob
We have got to give these guys some opportunities in a much stronger team which will be the case next year. I presume Vaelekki, Richards and Brown will be the first choice centres.
7 centres looks good to me depth wise

Yes... as I wrote we have one first choice recognised centre (not sure what Brown is to be honest).
It is one thing playing Gleeson, Goulding, Ashton and Walker now and again but it's not good if you're forced to use them week in week out against your Bradfords or your Leeds teams.
I think we could well suffer if we have injuries to our 3/4 or fullback (Radlinski's injury record concerns me). There will always be a weak spot in the centres if we suffer any backline injuries (and that makes the big assumption Vaealiki will live to his previous expectations). This is where we need a more experienced squad player like Aspinwall or that fella at Bradford, Johnson is it? He'd be a great utility player!

As for that the Ian Henderson thing, Bradford only signed him on loan so its up to them wether or not they want to continue with him by offering another contract.
Wrong, Henderson signed a contract for Bradford which runs until the end of the 2007 season.

You know there's no need to say sorry and thanks alone in posts. It's taking me about 10 minutes to open up each thread, not sure if it that's anything to do with my internet connection or just this site but to be honest it's a completely meaningless post (like this one which I wouldn't have to do vicious circle) which is taking up room!

Newton signed for Bradford over 3 weeks ago but Bradford have not yet lodged the papers with H.Q. Obviously concerned over the ban.. So much for Newton's loyalty.
Do remember though that he is a pro and will go for the best financial deal.

You seem to have it on you taday Mrs.L ... first I notice you have been grammer correcting on another post... spellchecking and grammer checking isn't really necesary and would take up as you say valuable room.
Also, if someone has spouted kack its good to get the sorry and I'm always pleased when someone applauds my posts and common courtesy dictates that I will say thanks.
Another pointless post this is and so I'm just perpetuating pointlessness.... still it is one of the few posts that I haven'tmentioned Brett Kenny or slated Danny Orr... or have I
Are you answering for PieEaters here? That's who I was referring to as I have tried to do more subtly over the last few weeks. Otherwise we're ending up with pages of MSN type conversation that says lol, ta, cheers mate, Oh (just a few examples over the last few months) rather than debate.
I'm not too fussed about spelling or grammar, as some will know the incorrect spelling of there, their and they're and they should of instead of have just bothers me. If I was really bothered I would have changed the title of this thread by now to Higham!

I was just thinking the same thing, Rob. IMO our squad for next season is definitely light. I know I have slated Aspy and Wild all last season, but they would be good cover for injuries in the backline.
Our starting 17 looks OK, but what got me to thinking about our strength in depth was the Saints/Bulls game. The Bulls had Parker, Lynch, Pratt, Reardon and Karl Pryce
outside their best 17. We won't be that strong next season. I know the short term signing of Morley has to be considered but hopefully the point is made.
