To be honest AJ,i didnt think the CC win would bring that many back.The trouble is,our glory hunters have been brought up on so much sucsess that one cup win is nothing to them.They expect us to win everything and it just wont happen again.It was a one off that no team will ever repeat.

Another factor is that today,the CC means very little.Everything revolves around the GF these days.The right to be called champions is what glory hunters want.

to be honest thats a different argument about the cup - i think it has lost prestige and needs something to bring it back to former glory, like maybe the final on august bankholiday weekend with the cup actually only starting in april for the bug guns?

wha happened to the lancashire cup and regal trophy? n there were more cups wasnt there, was it jus cause wigan won em all they so they got rid of em. sorry bout ma even worse english, im tired n nothings typin right

the regal trophy was a fine competition in my opinion

but yeah there was that and the lancashire cup as well
