Danny Orr to me is a good player.
At the Hull match when the bloke announcing the squads on the Tannoy said danny orr, he recieved one of the biggest cheers from us in the stand.

I think the curren situation with Moran and not gelling as good as we fans had hopedmay be a reason for receiving stick on here but Orr is a good player.

Current player dislikes, apparently, on here are, Vaeliki, Brown and Moran.

Likes: Feka, James, Godwin, perhaps.

If you go on the cherry and white board then you'll see Danny has a lot more support on there so thats were i spend most of my time now. I got sick and tired of fighting his corner on here. But I have noticed that for the past couple of weeks he's been the fans man of the match on here so thats refreshing. I hope he doesn't leave because Barretts arrived. If people take off their blinkers towards him they'll realise he has a lot of passion towards this club especially this season. You never see his head drop when things go wrong. He's always talking to the players trying to gee them up.
No blinkers, Hayley - I for one don't deny that he has a lot of passion for the club, and I'd be the first to agree his defence is excellent. It's still clear, though, that he doesn't have the creative spark, or the individual try-scoring ability, that he showed at Cas.
I'd be delighted if he did finally come good, but I'm not holding my breath.

HAS anyone ever seen Barrett play on here??? because if you did you'd know he's more of a Sculthorpe stand off than a classical old fashioned stand off!

Saw him play v Newcastle Knights a few week back on Sky. Couldn't see him have the ball at any point, Andrew Johns stole the show with a near-perfect display.

Just keep an eye on boots n all or live NRL matches for him.

Only on TV, admittedly, but yes, a lot.

He's got an accurate long passing ability to both sides, which Orr doesn't, and a varied kicking game which Orr used to have, but hasn't shown for us. He also has more pace than Orr, which isn't saying much.

So basically, what you're trying to say is... he's better than Orr?

you're all assuming that Barret will actually come to Wigan... yes I know he's signed but he's not going to play NL1.
On the contrary. Should the worst happen he said in an interview on Radio Manc at lunchtime he would come regardless.

The interview will be repeated on Radio Mac tonight in the rl hour at 7.00pm.

We won't be able to pay him in NL1 because of salary cap restrictions.

Any how if he plays for us in SL he'll probably have to go to centre.

It would make sense, same as PR. Sign a winger, play him centre, sign a stand off, play him centre.
