Looking at the fixtures I wouldnt be surprised to see Quins finish bottom.

Take a look on the Wire forum on Rlfans, They are talking about relegation, Although i can't see them going down i find it rather funny that they are not singing the Wigan are going down chants, It's a very nice feeling hearing all these other fans saying that they think Wigan will stay up now and it may be them that will go down, The Wigan season in review dvd for 2006 will make interesting viewing don't you think?,

Hope its the Quinns to go down the RL has thrown money at them for the last 20 odd years and they still dont have a fan base.
me and sudokuwarrior said the same thing when we were watching the match

i cant see wire going down just yet, and id prefer it if wakey went down, ok london have had a lot of money thrown at them, but at the end of the day, i dont think wakefield offer a lot to superleague, poor stadium, not the biggest fan base...where as london have decent facilities, gives us a bit of coverage darn sarth, and will probably see their fan base grow after merging with the harlequins.
edit-Plus we'd miss out on a great pi$$ up in london!......

10th Place will do for me too if we avoid relegation it will be the 1st time in SL history as the bottom club at halfway stage to avoid relegation.
You see what we are doing is this.
We hold I think every record there is to hold accept this one, so we are going for it.
Being bottom at Christmas then not getting relegated, a new record for us.
Do other clubs have the bottle to try and take this new record?
NO

I have 3 things to say (notwithstanding my refusal to use notwithstanding on the grounds I don't know what it means):
1 - Quins bring much more to the game than you would have thought on Saturday. A better time to judge their support etc will beon our second visit. My experience is that they have as much core support as Salford, Trinity and Huddersfield (but don't benefit from any local derbies).
It has taken over 25 years, but the game is putting down roots in London. It is played in schools and there are London players breaking through. There are more London produced players in SL than Warrigton produced players (there are only 2 of them). Quins is on the verge of very good things. Plus they have too much class to go down, in McLinden, Leuluai and Dorn in the backs and Hopkins, Haumono and Purdham in the pack. They can beat pretty much anyone on their day, as shown by their winning at Hull and drawing at Bradford.
2 - I will feel much more relaxed about other teams if and only if we manage to get over Friday's game. Wakefield have shown already thisyear that they can be very dangerous, and we will have to play better than the last 3 weeks to win. We can do so, esp now we have Fielden on board, and have learnt how to finsih games strongly (we have done very well in the 5 second halves by my reckoning, and I like the planning that goes into introducing Feca and Fielden with 10-15 minutes to go.
3 - If we survive this season could really be the making of the club. For a while, we could all see the club in the direst peril. And we responded. Having stared into the abyss, the town and the club will do all they can to make sure it never happens again.

Anyone noticed "Nonetheless" jumping on the NWS bandwagon recently?
Enough, off home now.
