ENGAGE SUPER LEAGUE XI TABLE
Sunday 2nd July 2006

1 St Helens 32
2 Leeds 30
3 Hull 28
4 Bradford 24
5 Salford 20
6 Warrington 18
7 Castleford 15
8 Huddersfield 14
9 Harlequins RL 13
10 Wakefield 12
11 Les Catalans 12
12 Wigan 10

Starting to look much healthier. 6 wins from the remaining 9 games (losing to Hull, Bulls & Leeds) puts us on 22 points. That should be enough for 8th place!

Geoff, why not 7th? I dont see us getting into top 6, as Warrington will undoubtedly overcome their disappointments and win at least 4 out of 9...

What about Wigan for the Grand Final?

Cas have a fairly easy run-in; I can see them finishing above us.
Something like:
Saints
Leeds
Hull
Bradford
Salford
Cas
Wire
Wigan
Hudds
Quins
Cats

10th Place will do for me too if we avoid relegation it will be the 1st time in SL history as the bottom club at halfway stage to avoid relegation.

Hope its the Quinns to go down the RL has thrown money at them for the last 20 odd years and they still dont have a fan base.

When i heard the results today i got thinking. Here is my question.

If SL announced it was not having any relegation this season would all the moaning supporters from the clubs in the relegation mix. (From us up to the Giants) would they welcome it or would they moan. After all when it was been thrown about we were 6 off the Wildcats. And they all moaned.

As i see it they are more worried than us now. Were winning now and have a decent run in. Also were getting a settled side.

My view they'd welcome it now.

I am certain Wakey would. Over on their forum on rlfans I have seen it posted that they think if they go down it's curtains for them. They don't think they would get a franchise in 2009 due to the poor ground and the fact they think their club is poorly run. One fans described it being run like a pub team.
