I was thinking of blocking this thread, as it has gone completely off topic, but then would I be accused of being biased.
After receiving daily emials from CP asking for mods to take action against other site members (for quite trivial reasons), I for one don't blame Mike for instigating the ban, it was getting quite childish and repetitive.

anyway, if people wish to continue the debate,can you please move it to off topic.

Dave the facts are this, you have jumped on everything CP has said for some time by your own admission 'to give him enough rope to hang himself with' and its been glaringly obvious to many that you are the one at fault. I've told Mike my feelings as you clearly have been doing for some time but the difference is I'm not preaching one thing and doing another. In actual fact it surprises me that its only you involved as I suspected others but at least we all know now its out in the open. Perhaps this discussion could have been had before you took it upon yourself to start mud slinging or rope giving as you describe it. As a mod you should do the right thing and jack it in as will I happily. You're no more worthy of it than anyone having proved you can give it but can't take it and result to the same behaviour your claim to be ridding the site of from your position of power. If things became personal between you and CP you're behind it and nobody is asking for you to be banned.

some things need saying Guy its not hard to ignore an email and CP has clearly been deliberately targeted on this site.
