Yep, mainly because of the 17 cans of lager each!

we arrived at 7pm and it was chaos then, for some reason the stewards thought it was they're job to stand doing nothing, no communication, nothing! also why does a proffessional outfit like Leeds have a pub singer as the entertainment?, typical yorkshire.

Set off at 4.45 got to Headingley at 7.05. We took the Bradford ring road route to get into Headingley. If we had not then the journey would have taken even longer. It was an awful journey. Many Wigan fans arrived after the kick off despite travelling well in advance. Why was the kick off not delayed?

We arrived to find a total lack of stewards. Bar stewards at the entrance/exit points you had no stewards to assist supporters. Why? The blocks / seats are not clearly marked. This exacerbates the problem of lack of stewards.

We had to buy tickets for the Radio Aire stand. Our seats (Block B M , 17 18) in the original part of the stand (upper yier) were 'sublime' The view of the pitch towards the Carniege Stand was two giant stantions. We gave up and watched any action from that part of the pitch on the big screen. We paid to watch the match live not on TV. Those seats and many others are not fit to be sold to fans. Guess what, there were numerous Wiganers to keep us company. In the modern era, certain seats should never be SOLD. They are deemed or should be unacceptable. Why are you selling such seats?

The toilets were disgusting. Nearly died purchasing food. £2.50 for 5 doughnuts!!! I had to double check that this was Headingley and not Wembley.

The match programme is excellent.

Headingley is not and will never be suitable as a major RL stadium. Can you tell me why you have opted to relocate or ground share with Leeds FC. The layout / lack of space negates any hope of Headingley ever becoming fit for purpose.

Congratulations to the Leeds team on a great effort and Jamie Peacock on a majestic game. Sadly, the high standards on the field are not replicated off it. Amateurish and a joke spring to mind.

Thankyou

Allan Marsden

We left Wigan at 5.30pm arrived junction 2 of M621 at 7.30pm 30 minutes later still at junction 2 0f M621.Why did the club not liaise with the police to speed the flow of match bound traffic towards the ground as you knew a large number of Wigan supporters were due to arrive - the main problem appeared to be the timing of the traffic signals at the junction.Following on from this why was the kick off not delayed for the thousands (and I do not use the figure lightly) of supporters who were unable to reach the ground by kick off.

Having arrived at the ground at around 8.30pm the attitude shown by the stewards was both arrogant and unhelpful and indeed could have led to some serious problems.

Firstly on entering the ground and explaining we had tickets for the Western terrace we were directed towards the Carneige stand. We got to the next steward who told us that we needed to go out through the cricket ground and try there. When we got to the Western terrace we were rudely and quite aggressively refused admission because the ground was full - why when we had purchased tickets in advance had the stewards let the ground become too full? We were prevented from entering for at least 10 minutes and therefore saw non of the 1st half of the game.

Having finally fought our way into the ground we were disappointed to find that the view was very poor due to everybody being squeezed into a confined area.

Given your clubs proud history it is a shame that your ground is so far out of touch with modern standards and is made worse by the apparent inability to manage a big match occassion.
