Re: Nightmare Journey and a cr...
I agree, I entered the ground at 7:55pm. I queued up for my tea at the Jacket potato stand after Leeds' first try and 2 coach loads were unloading at the cricket ground - ridiculous.
Our stand was full to bursting but the stewards could have filtered people down to the bottom and off to the sides, where i was stood it seemed 'normally' adequate for more spectators to stand within the vacinity

We got there at 20 past eight after turning out from Wigan at 5.40pm.... nightmare.
We were in the paddock and had utterly disgraceful seats. Restricted view is the phrase that springs to mind. If a season ticket holder sits in them, they are being shafted !
To top a crap night, Leeds fans wanted trouble

The phrase packed in like sardines comes to mind.We had a bl**dy big column in front of us. Then after the awful journey had to buy some grub at the ground 2 burgers/ 2 hotdogs/ 1 chips /2 drinks the cost £19.50
`I want to win something this year pls `
Re: Nightmare Journey and ...
Truely shocking last night as regards to the stand,
The stewards didnot have a clue what to do,
And all the while there was plenty room in that waste of money new seating stand on the opposite end of the ground. It would have made sense and been alot safer to have put some fans in them seats,
If they had any brains they would be lethal
But hey ho just hope the Rhinos beat the scum

agree with all the posts on here.we left wigan at half 4 and got there about 7ish parking is a nightmare. like ste said that newstand was half empty so surely its common sense to avoid the situation some wiganers found them in last night they could have been seated in the stand

The stewards also could have stopped leeds supporters entering and watching the game their too, when they must have known how many wigan fans where going to stand there. I was at the front and when i turned around could see at least about 8 leeds fans together. Ridiculous when they can stand elsewhere.ancientnloyal posted:
