Prescott is the most reliable prop at the club,but frankly that is not saying much.Morley,Carvell and co destroyed us yesterday.The only reason Briers and Monaghan were so dominant was because the forwards were getting over the gain line time after time.I have said in the past our props are collectively the poorest in SL and i see no reason to change that opinion.We are supposed to be looking for a prop for next season,we should look for 3 to go along with Mossop who is more prop than second row.We could have the best 6,7 and 9 around but if the forwards are not doing their job they will not perform.I felt sorry for Sam yesterday.The most annoying thing for me though is that we could have signed Morley and Carvell and we would now be in another Wembley final if we had.

The first tackle the ball was pushed out by the Wire player, so wasn't a knock on, and the knock on before the Briers drop goal was a result of a knee in by the Wire player.

if those observations are 100% correct then fair enough...

What's the point of posting when people don't read a thread in it's entirity. This is circular.

Prescott didn't drop the ball or knock on. On both occasions yesterday they were knocked out by the Wire and not seen.

My only concern with Prescott is (like O'Carroll)that he looks a little too light for the front row - now I am not saying all forwards should be built like Feka is but I just feel that size matters in the front row - looked at Morley and Carvell - big units but also mobile and able to play decent spells - Prescott must be giving away a stone and a half to Morley and maybe even two and a half stone to Carvell.

We need some size in our pack - Hansen, Flanagan, Lockers, Joel,Bailey are all workhorses and mobile units which is great but I just feel Mossop gives us a bit the biff and bash as an option
