1000 points is doable against saints but how many tries does Josh need to get to the record?

So is the record for just super league or does it include the cup?

Just had a look a Bilkos brilliant site. Statistics centre.
This shows Charnley 35 tries and Tomkins 34. There is no mention of League/Cup.

Vainikolo's record is 33 tries in the regular season
So Josh needs two to equal or a hat trick to beat it.
I hope we don't try to build the game around this record. I remember Bradford trying to get big Les's average to one per game during his last match for them, and it spoiled the team as every play tried to get him in, when it really wasn't on.

Yes I remember that 10 try haul for offiah against Leeds in 1992 with everyone trying to get him to score.

However this is Saints on Friday, unless we are winning by 30 we will be ruthless.

The record is 36 set in 2004.

Josh has 31 in the league. He has scored 4 in the cup. 2 v Crusaders, 1 v Fev and 1 v Leeds.
