Re: Wigan TV
Good quality picture and decent commentary. We look much sharper than Salfird. Good early signs from Smith and Green.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.

that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Wigan TV
I think Daves being a bit harsh on Green. He has thrown a couple of really nicely timed passes for tries and dummied, gone past a player and passed for another try already.
Green and Smith are linking very nicely for a first time out. Seeming to be operating close to one another rather than split left right all the time. Often you hear Smith to Green or Green to Smith in the commentary. A More tradional pairing than before i think.

Re: Wigan TV
Salford disallowed try - foot in touch.
Re: Wigan TV
Wigan try, Thornley, Charnley missed goal from more or less right in front
Re: Wigan TV
Smith scores for Wigan from a short pass from Prescott for about 30m out. Looked a forward pass in the move and the Salford speccies certainly thought so - you can hear then quite clearly in the stand below! Charnley does not miss this time. 34-4 to Wigan.
Re: Wigan TV
Green just went off beforehand so 60 mins for him in the game so the halves are currently Smith and Powell.
In the forwards Burke looks impressive

Re: Wigan TV
Salford score after a bit of a mix up in defence but not sure how it was given since they seemed to knock it forward twice. Pressure due to an earlier mistake in Wigans in goal forcing a drop out. 34-10. 10 mins to go.
