Basically starts now till the 14th April so will miss first 2 months, 8-9 games!! Plus pre season!! So 12 games really!! I think!!
It's 13 according to the RFL.

Two friendlies, Brisbane game and 10 SL games.

So really in terms of the games that matter it is 10 matches.

Will miss the Good Friday game with Saints. Not a coincidence IMO.

People wanted far worse and not many thought much less (in terms of actual game missed). Brings him back after Good Friday which may be a sensible thing, but then he'll have Saints at Magic most likely which isn't ideal with the big anti Wigan element there will be in the crowd.

I think we should move on from it now and support Ben when he is back.

I think it's about fair, I thought he'd get 12-14 so 13 games seems about right.

I don't know why anyone is angry TBH

Hohaia should have got longer but that's a separate issue.

For me Flower should have got 8 games including friendlys and WCC!!

Hohaia should have got 4 games!!

The RFL have ripped up the rule book and re wrote another because simply it was in a GF, very dangerous ground!!

Extremely dangerous now.

Next person who hits a Wigan player will get his ban extended. RFL have now set a dangerous precedence. The ban for me is ok but its LH getting little thats the issue and the one IL needs clarification on.

Your strategy would be...?

The outcome you expect would be...?

Let me fill that in for you.

Strategy: Argue that Flower was justified and that LHs punishment should be equivalent both in public and at teh RFL.

Outcome: be pilloried in the national press even more, get an even bigger ban. Gain nothing. Lose more.
You cannot and would not gain a bigger ban Mike. Kissing ass achieved nothing. Who cares about the press. IIRC, you argued any press is good press did you not 24 hours ago.

Ben Flower had a case that could be defended and should have been. The case for the defence was even supported by the contrived LH suspension albeit he openly admitted in doing so that he assaulted Ben Flower and the RFL agreed that he did so, sprinting 30 yards to do so. In kissing ass we let LH / the RFL off the hook. JUSTICE was not served. I am ashamed to be a Wigan supporter tonight knowing our great cub sold one of its own down the river!

Exactly contrived and worse we are compliant in this ludicrous kangaroo court and sold our own down the river!

Yeah you can. TNs was increased to 7 months.

You really think that arguing and not apologising would have led to a shorter ban? And made us look like we weren't condoning the punch? I think that is a bit far removed from reality TBH.

I just don't understand it -where is the fairness in any of this -hohia hits him off the ball and blindside-flower retaliates and second punch obviously cannot be condoned-but last season Westwood with cheap shot breaks green's cheek -one match ban I think and weeks ago wood throws five punches, three making contact-ten minutes in the bin and one match ban- where is there any fairness? It's a mockery, all of it
