When we went the very first year we went from Stanstead airport, it cost us £82 each & we stayed in Perpy for a week, our hotel was right on the canal & that cost £130 for the week B&B. Stayed in Perpy three times & that's enough, nothing much to do.
Always stay in Calella now especially for the craic with all the other Wigan fans. Just book transfers thru to Perpy for the game. It's a lot cheaper in Spain too for food & drink ????

Thought of doing the train one year, stayed in Perps , Canet , but enjoy Calella better , it's cheaper and a good laugh , there are more fans staying in Calella every year

We couldn't be arsed with all the transfers/coaches etc and it was the cheapest deal out of the lot, we are only there for a long weekend and I wouldn't mind visiting some of the acatecture and museums when were there.
Thinking of hiring a car and having a trip around the south of France for a couple of days as well not sure yet. We have already looked up the nightlife and there are plenty to go at so that's on the agenda. I'm a very organised person and I will have a full itinerary to get thru so nobdody will be bored.
I've no doubt I will see you there and I will say hello.
If you hire a car take a ride out to Collioure. It's about 40 minutes drive from the centre of Perpignan and well worth the visit.

Yes I agree with Straw, Collioure is s lovely place and there are few good vineyards round that area to visit as well ????????
