Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

We're going for a week in Calella it's costing us approx £800 for hotel & flights for two.

Re: Catalan away
You can do it cheaper if you're prepared to mix and match. Last year we flew from Manchester to Gerona and stayed in Canet, catching the bus to Perpignan for the game. Then we got the train from Perpignan to Nimes and flew from there to Liverpool. I think the trick is to avoid flying in or out of Perpignan which is very pricey!josie andrews wrote:It depend who you book with, where you're going etcrobspark wrote:Roughly whats the cost of the weekend away per person?

having never been before because things kept getting in the way how would you get from Calella to the game? do you rent a car over there or use Public transport?josie andrews wrote:It depend who you book with, where you're going etcrobspark wrote:Roughly whats the cost of the weekend away per person?

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure
Re: Catalan away
WF, last year used Catalans Sports Tours who organise match day transfers. I think they are agents for "Hoppa" who will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you up to Perpignan in a coach along with all the other Wigan fans, and then return you back to your hotel after the game. They are very well organised and CST will give you a full itinery before you travel.
