With the two injuries I've just read about, I'll be glad for this season to end now. Things just don't get any better do they

Finishing lower than 6 would probably do us a bit of good, I've said this before somewhere but even if it's only an extra week, the rest is needed and preparation for next season is more important. We're still in SL next year, we'll probably finish mid table and a few good performances rather than walkovers (again) against Scousers and Leeds will do me fine.
Welcome back MrsLam! Long time no see! I tend to agree with you, but I think IM is just keeping hopes alive mainly to ensure that the players keep trying. It would take some poor London performances to get us into the 6, but good showings against Hull, Leeds and Snots would go a long way to building confidence in the players who will still be here next season.

I know it would probably do us better to not get in the top 6, as it means the players can rest for longa......but i reali want us to get in the top 6, as i dont think we have ever finished a season out of it, and i think wev broke enuf embarrasin records this season *cough* (leeds/saints matches)

No, but we can still do it......just worried bout the Saints game. We've not lost to them at the jjb for years, so we better win that one. BUt i reckon we'll beat widnes nxt week, and london will lose to leeds, so wer onli 2 points behind em.

Even if we win all our remaining games, which is unlikely, given that we've got Leeds, Snots and Hull in there...London still need to drop 5 points from their last 5 games...against Leeds, Snots, Hudds, Salford & Widnes. The first 2, maybe, but not the other 3.

well im in two minds even if we get in the play offs we wiont win it not even if we had a full squad to choose from soit might be better to miss out
Thats what i thought but like i said, theres not been a season when we havent been in the top 6, and i dont want us to break that record aswell. So, even if we get knocked out in the first round, i dont care as long as we get there, and keep the tradition
