That doesn't confirm the rumours that he's injured again. He was never likely to play such a short turnaround having only just returned from injury.
Just read hes being rested and that was the plan all along.The plot thickens.I wonder if moylan is also missing for leigh and thats why hes been rested?

The one i read said field was out and so was thompson with eckersley doubtful and smith 50/50.The add ons made me doubt the original post about field.Dont know if its true ot not
Cheers guys - rested is ok! The odds on Wigan win did change from 12 point start to 4 point start in Leigh’s favour so something seemed to be up.

Hopefully Ryan will do some field kicking to take the pressure off Harry. Give the opposition something they don 't anticipate.
The kick for Ekersley was a planned move Wigan have used at least twice already this season when he wasn’t playing. First time was in the WCC (but French was an inch offside). It wasn’t a stroke of genius on his part but a planned move. He’s not some sort of tactical kicking genius and was crap for 75 minutes. He needs to improve a heck of a lot.

Interesting that Nsemba and Farrell have switched sides.
Farrell’s defence should help on the right and if Nsemba can get some early ball from Smith he will be unstoppable.
