If you look at the past managers of wigan rugby, they have been at the top of the proffesion but yet we still perform poorly. this says something about the board. we have maurice lindsay who doesnt know what he is doing any more. and the dave whelan, a devoted latics fan who doesnt care about the rugby. we need a chairman who cares about rugby, money is not as much or an issue due to the salary cap, we need some1 to take an interest and boost the confidence in the entire club. :exc:
I agree with you on this one, a complete new start is the best answer.
Leave Sir Dave to mix it with the money men in football.
His money isn't needed here, someone who cares passionately is what we need now.
Dave enjoys his rich man days out in the Premier League too much these days, he simply isn't interested enough, and hasn't got the drive needed.

Lindsay must go but NOT D.W. Without D.W. we wouldn't have a ground or a team. A concerted effort must be made on Monday to show the fans displeasure at Lindsay. A simple chant of ' Lindsay out', should reverberate around the ground for the majority of the game. Until the message gets home.
Wink

why not lets, all go to shite helens and make complete prats of ourselves, lets chant to get mo out, as do that we might as well shoot ourselves in the foot same effect, don't forget MO has put millions into the club when nobody else would, the only thing that matters is getting behind the team making as much noise as possible, and pray for another murrayfield, if we can't do that god help us

Ive gotta disagree with that at least whelan was at wakefield for the cup game and most others recently he is a rugby fan but his main aim is the latics when he retires lindsay will be put in charge until then we are stuck with him

Big Dave is without doubt a football fan. I remember about 4/5 seasons ago we were in the cup semi with Hull ( I think ) ; where was Whelan that day ? Answer: watching Latics at Chesterfield in an end of season non citical, anti climax game. How do I know ? Well my little brother takes great delight in reminding me, because the pesky little *** is a blue ! You'll never convince me that his heart is in it. He only wants his Mr WIGAN badge.

Whats going on here, all this talk about demos and chants? We have a team that is at rock bottom. They need to know that the fans are behind them. Its the RUGBY that we are interested in, not the politics!!
Lets leave that to the shirts in the posh boxes.

And lets stop popping ar DW because he happens to think more about football than Rugby. He still supports both. Maybe not to our devoted liking but he has more clout than any of us. Maybe MO will get the message but lets wait till the team are doing a bit better eh?

Once the team are doing better we'll have no chance of getting rid of either.
Things need to be sorted now while we are at the lowest ebb, and maybe the future will be better.
