We won't be able to pay him in NL1 because of salary cap restrictions.
That depends how much we pay him and if the club finally decides to go the offshore benefit trust route to give him a pay day at the end of his contract that isn'r salary.

It will be a kings ransom.
I for one do not believe for an instant that he'll play in the lower leagues.
We have offered him a year too long a contract while I'm at it.
4 year may just about equate to £1m. Got to keep the maths easy for these sports stars.

Good job it's only a 3-year deal, then, isn't it?

This is exactly why i've switched to the cherry and white board. You people will never change your opinion no matter what. I can't be bothered to argue anymore. I've got my opinion, you people have yours.

Not true, Hayley. As I've said, I'd be delighted to change my opinion of him, when he starts playing to his potential.
I've said the same about a lot of our other players, and I've already changed my opinion of Richards since the Huddersfield game.
I'll stop criticising DV if and when he starts playing, too.

So if you've changed your opinion on Pat Richards after the Hudds game why, after Danny played superbly, have you not changed your opinion on him? He also played well in the hull game. It's like banging my head against a brick wall.

I'm not stirring hatred people are entitled to their opinions. Its just I am sick and tired of reading on here how bad Danny is when there are a lot of players Brown, O Loughlin, Higham who are playing worse at the moment but people always seem to have excuses for them. The cherry and white board are of the same opinion of me. That's why i go on their board. It also keeps my blood pressure down and my temper in check!

Me personally, I still hold out that he can find the form he found at Cas that saw him in the G.B setup. At the moment the effort and commitment is there for all to see, it's the attacking flair he had at Cas that isn't. Will it return ? we all hope so, I bet he hopes so even more though.
