If or* when, it cant be "if and when". We have time, and home games and a fully fit squad. As I posted elsewhere, Wakey have a far worse tail end to the season than we do. The next 4 or 5 games are crucial, if we dont get any wins out of them, then we can forget it.

If this comes off then there will be uproar. If Wigan are allowed to bank roll themselves then would they still be under the rules of the salary cap etc?

All seems a bit of a wind up and if Millward dreamt up his tactics like he did this idea then no wonder he was sacked
But from reading the initial post it is clear that this isn't Millward's idea. He said "I a reliably informed...". How does that make it a Millward idea? H is clearly stating that the idea originated elsewhere. Still, why miss an opportunity to bag him?:conf: :(
Fair point! Should Millward be quoting his sources then?

I think hes s**t stirring trying to wind up the mickey mousers, using wigan as his big stirring stick
If that was what he was up to I am all for it. Wonder what the reaction was on RLFans? :D

Why's that then????? He sounds quite confident of his source.
Because it is a nutty idea.

If this happened there would be less games than there are now despite the extra team.

The extra fixtures everyone hates won't fit a 13 team competition. Each team would play each team twice resukting in 24 rounds. There are 28 now and so the clubs loose four games income.

They will never vote for that.

Dave
Your argument here is thin.

Teams would play the extra games and the number of games would be the same as now.

this was in the league weekly, and it also said super league management comittee could overrule the rfl over relegation, plus cas and wakefield were also looking to bankroll their respective teams

ive heard loads of diffrent things regards religation
wigan will put all there players on loan to other clubs for one season, wigan will pay the team who finish top of league one not to come up, the r.f.l will change the rules to a 14 team super league, wigan will pay for themselves, and the truth is we will be religated and have to spend at least one year in league one. unless we can get our act together and win some games!
dont let your victories go to your head or your failures go to your heart
