I thought that Cardiff was "booked" for next year's CC cup final?
Better wait and see what the attendances at the "new" Wembley are like. If you look at the attendances at "old" Wembley (and Cardiff, incidentally), they were holding up pretty well at around the 75k mark (apart from Sheffield, which was low because of the expected mismatch!! <ouch>). It's only the moves to Murrayfield, and then Twickers, that have seen a big drop.

I suspect Cardiff is being held as a "contingency plan" should Wembley not be ready for next year's final.
