When you have liers backing you like Jfartin there is little point is there CP. I stated my points, and I stand by what I wrote. More damage was done by posters on here than by BN. Lets see how blue eyed boy takes it when Coley gives away a penalty or Fielden drops a ball next season. Remember it was mistakes more than poor coaching that coost us games.

I think those slagging of the team are running out of things to say. Boys are doing well. I just shove something in now and again to wind them up. I put in the keep Noble articles so CP and DaveO will bite. It's like fishing in a goldfish bowl Jim

CP has been a pain in the butt since he was made a mod. Speaks with the voice of authority. Jim

I am just cantankerous and it is the team they are supposed to support that they are trashing week in week out. Ok Hull they played to win, they did not need to do more. You cannot hit top form week in week out. You burn out. Noble might be a dour yorkie but he is a good coach. If he was born and bred Wigan he would still be the bee's knees. This idea that sack the coach, get rid of the player leaves the team weak at the beginning of the season every time. Jim

This fellow has finally done my box in. Am I right in thinking that these problems started when he was made Mod? Another season of him coming up with the same tripe will see the end of the site. Can you ask Mike to set up a CP, DaveO free zone please. Jim

The Radio Manchester show was full comments from Wigan fans who were overwhelmingly in support of the new appointments.

So regardless of how good a coach you think Nobby is, even the vast majority of those who were saying he had done well for Wigan were in favour of him going and the new appointments being made. I think there was one comment sent in from a 16 year old who was not happy Noble had gone (can't remember if he went on to say he was happy with the new appointments or not) but that was about it - from Wigan fans.

It was virtually universal support for the changes that have been made. I would imagine most comments came from people who don't post on here so you are IMO in a very small minority of people who think Noble should have got a new deal.

One or two comments from fans of other clubs notably a Wire fan saying getting rid of Noble was wrong but when fans of other clubs don't like what Wigan are doing and the Wigan fans do, that ought to tell you something.

I sent in an email that got read out, can you guess which one!?

Jim, it's obvious you don't like debate and critisism when it comes to talking about the team. You find it corrosive and feel it demotivates the team and would rather people were more muted in their responses and generally more sympathetic to underacheivement in the team. Fair enough. I think you're wrong - I don't think the players are arsed in the slightest what the fans do or do not think of them in the big scheme of things..... but you're more than entitled to your opinion.

But can we stop the 'he said she said' debacle now that all the threads seem to be descending into?? Lets play nicely.

Not wishing to prolong this argument, but Jim had a very valid point which now appears to have been addressed on another thread!
