I think you are forgetting he was injured for a considerable part of the 2008 season when a very inexperienced Joel Tomkins played at 13 and it certainly wasn't not anywhere near as good.
His attack has always been so, it was the same when he came into the first team and just gets better and better as he matures and benefits from a better coach.
His attack is better now than it was IMO and this is born out by the statistics. Most of his attacking stats are already averaging WAY higher than previous years. If you think it has always been as good you were watching a different game than me. He is playing a different game now on attack and it's better.

I put O'Loughlin with Hock under the World Class banner. He is a work horse, quiet but does the job... 3 assists this week v Hull FC.
