I think we often underestimte the impact of the clowns in the media. IMO the hysteria early season has made us more hesitant in defence BUT the recent nonsense RE Sam T single handedly restraining men mountains from getting up when they are on top of him. I will gladly bet that 2 things will happen he will be penalised by a referee in the play offs for it and/or players will hold him down and scream blue murder that Sam is holding them down.

Several weeks back, Ganson was reffing a Wigan match (can't remember which one) and with only a few minutes to go, the game was won and Sam T conceded a penalty. It ended up with him remonstrating with Ganson at which point he was sin-binned.
I remember thinking that the isolated incident did not deserve a sin-binning but said out loud that it would do Sam 'no harm at all'.
My point being that he was just starting to get a little petulant and I had no problem with Ganson knocking him down a peg or too.
As I've said before, both brothers are still very young and relatively inexperienced. The coaches are, I'm sure all too aware of this and will deal with them accordingly. I think it's a fine balancing act between getting every last ounce of passion out of them without it spilling over into petulance.
I would be surprised if we didn't see a more measured Joel tonight. I'm sure that words have been had.....probably four letter ones!
I think that several weeks back was the tail end of last season, after SKY had put up the news that saints were losing to Salford and Sam said to Ganson "Don't take it out on me just 'cause your side are losing."
