Yeah EW, know what he meant too after I'd posted. Like you say, it could have been took different ways lol

I think an alternative strategy is the way to go; Whenever we play Leeds we absolutely drown them with Super Sam, Sam will tear you apart chanting or Anti Yorkshire/Leeds chants about their love for sheep.

I actually think it is great that so many players have gone public in their dismay. Westwood has gone up in my estimations and it showed the man Peacock is to criticise his own fans/club.

It's occurred to me that the easiest way round this is for us all to cheer our heads off whenever Sam has the ball when we play Leeds. Assuming it isn't all their fans that do it and also assuming that our cheers would be louder than their Boo's we can cancel out their racket and make a more pleasant noise ourselves. Sorted.

Just get a big flag of this with a caption: WE WON.

I think chants of "CHEAT, CHEAT" every time MacGuire touches the ball would really wind them up after they way they reacted last year.

I've been to Leeds a few times to watch internationals and this kind of thing unfortunately is becoming common place of late and it's one of the reasons I tend to stay away from there these days. With the drop in form of the Leeds footbal side, I do think a percentage of their supporters have moved to watching the rugby and they have brought some of their unsavoury habits with them. The last time I was there, there was a group of lads who showed little interest in the game, and spent the whole evening p#**ed up and generally being abusive to anyone and everyone.
There have been some players who have been truely dispised by Wigan fans, Sean Long, Bobby Goulding for example, but I can't ever remember a time when they were booed by Wigan Fans when wearing England Colours.
The easiest solution to all this is stop Leeds hosting internationals for a couple of years and hit them financialy. As for booing any player wearing England colours, personally I would never do it and think it utterly disgraceful.
