For my two penneth worth, MM is a cracking player and I'd want him in my side every day of the week. His form has dipped a bit recently but I would never regard him as a liability. He's just very aggressive and 9 times out of 10 we're lauding him for being so. We love a big hit or some aggressive play but when he gets it wrong he's a liability?? Please!!
He'll be the first to admit that it was an error and ok he probably deserved a red card but we can't have a player like that who plays like he does and not expect the odd problem. It's case of for every 10 things he does really well, there will be one where he gets it wrong. OK so be it.
For me he's brilliant and i love to watch him play. I would also argue that there have been considerably worse infringements gone on this season that have gone unpunished.
AND Lance 'professional foul' Hohaia?!?!? Oh my God what a niggly little turd that bloke is. At least two occasions where a yellow should have been shown but yet again it doesn't happen. I lost my voice shouting at Childs on Friday night. The inconsistency is unbearable and as Stuart Fielden pointed out in his post match interview, "someone spoilt the game."

if that is the rules then we live by then and they should be 100% in force in the playoffs
If a late head shot is a straight red then it is - if its morley, peakcock, westwood or bailey doing it in the second minute of the grand final - its a RED
Same as a punch - if Micky Mac a red (no on report) for thowing one punch against bradford then fine
If it Carvell, Bailey, Bridge etc in the grand final is a RED
BUT WILL IT BE?

Exactly BW, too many like for like incedents this season, some punished and some not.
Why did Hock get 5 matches for eye gouging, yet Abblett gets nothing for exactly the same offence. Brent Webb's late hit in the Wilcats game was much worse than McIlorum's but Webb stayed on the pitch, albeit being punished afterwards.
Hock didn't get banned for 'gouging'.

Assuming MM gets a three match ban, which he could easily do with his track record, then he becomes unavailable for selection during that period.
My question is ' does he get a full salary/half/nowt whilst not available to play'?

He gets his full salary because he is on a 52 week contract like all jobs, the only way he won't get full salary is if the club fine him for his sending off.

Hock got 4 matches for gouging and 1 for punching after the Warrington game last year.

If he'd been late and hit him round his legs would we be having this conversation?!! Sending off whichever way it gets dressed up!
Not see any replays BUT many who have say first contact was with the shoulder. Unfortunately this is not junior or amateur RL and the players are coached / expected to make contact above the ball when making their hit / tackle.
To All IIRC Mac has taken Roby to the cleaners 3 times this season.

He would have made it 4 times to the cleaners but for a moment of madness!

Looks like Micky Mac is the continuation from Lockers in your eyes Medlocke "a no hoper".
Diskin is average at best, probably the slowest hooker in SL and looked very out of condition when he changed shirts last week.
Would just love to see you telling Micky Mac to his face that he is a knob, now that would be worth the entrance fee alone to see that at any game.

Just ask yourself why is it Roby is rated the best in England, not Mac??
We used to call Cunningham too but he was the best in his time. (We'd have had him in a heart beat, if we could).
you have to look at things more broadly.
I think Roby is a gud un. I wish he was ours.
