If McGuire has already served a ban this season then he is in exactly the same situation than what Mac was a week or so ago.
The ban must therefore be 3 matches.
It was interesting listening to Superleague Fulltime with Barry 'One Eye' and Paul Cullen saying that McGuire's tackle was totally different to the one that Mac hit on Laffranchi. Barry McDermott seemed to suggest that less punishment should be served to McGuire, and Cullen went along with it. The only person to disagree was John Kear who said that it wasnt accidental so should therefore get full punishment.

He's definitely served a ban earlier in the season

So like you said, the example set should be no different to MicMac.

100% Warrior wrote:If McGuire is hauled up in front of the panel this week then surely he has to serve a ban as he didn't receive his marching orders during the game plus he's already served a ban earlier this season.

So if prior record is to be taken into account he should receive a ban.

MicMac was off the field for over an hour yet still received a 3 match ban on top.

If the panel are going to remain consistent McGuire's season should be over on Tuesday.
RFL will say he has a good record give him 1 match ban and then he will use the early plea. RFL is corrupt.

As you say anything under 3 matches in wrong.

He's used his 'early' plea already this season, July when he was banned for 2 matches.

Do we have any banners in preparation aimed at the RFL if McGuire does get off with this.
I am happy to print off and prepared to hold up a banner at the game in disgust if McGuire does play.
Its not too difficult to get hold of an A3 printed sheet of Paper and if there are sufficient people holding up a document with the same slogan then the point should surely get accross to the RFL at a televised game.

For anyone who does not know. Leeds' primadonna Danny McGuire is at the beak at 5pm today...

With the rainfall this week, I make us or Leeds favourites. As we are the 2 best wet weather sides.

Wire n Saints prefer the baking sun!!

Thoughts??
