A clash may be more possible, but the operating rules in the Championship are different. Fixture issues have largely been as a result of the Premier League rule that no other sport can be played on the pitch within 24 hours before kick off time. That rule wouldn't be an issue if they go down.

I follow the latics as well as the warriors, before the latics built themselves up there were still lots of football fans in wigan they all went outside the town, Liverpool, Manchester, Bolton Blackburn burley, there even was a coach that went up to Celtic games. Latics grew and a lot of people started watching them. I don,t think it will effect the warriors if latics go down. and if they stay down it will might end up more kids play rugby and more corporate money goes to the warriors.

I'm guessing from the second part of his statement he is an Arsenal fan, and was probably an Arsenal fan before Wigan had a competitive football team.

If A&L is Wigan born and bred,where,s the "support your hometown club" Oh i know he's a Man U supporter as well(just to be on the safe side)

Always been Arsenal and I was born in Bolton if that helps the mard lot.
Fujiman can account for that. Plus, at Highbury in the Carling Cup semi I was the unhappiest guy from Wigan that evening when they scored at the death.
