Well I enjoyed it and I will thank you to keep your petty insults to yourself whenever someone has the unmitigated gall to disagree with your opinions. This is a forum and everyone is entitled to think for themselves
I enjoyed it too. Not listened to Bilko before. A refreshing change. Is he a Wiganer? He seems to have the Wigan Wit :)
He lives 3 streets away from me and Josie Jim!

Thanks Kooch. I think I threw my toys out of the pram too early on that one, bit late at night. I am all for forums like this and fully appreciate everyone has an opinion and has the right to disagree. There are ways of disagreeing though without using derogatory language - or is that just me being hyper sensitive again. Anyway back to the point at hand, well played lads I am proud of all of you!!

Agreed Kooch. My wife's Aunt lived in Charnock Richard before she passed away many years ago. Went to a pub round the corner from,I think it was Church Rd.or Lane. the owner gave us some Hot Pot gratis .She said it was a treat for the regulars every Friday. I told her we were'nt regulars. She said 'I know.Just ger it down thi lad. I've never forgot the hospitality shown to us. Keep enjoying the games

Church Lane Jim, and the pub is The Dog and Partridge. Got refurbished a couple of years ago and I would recommend it to anybody who is in the area. As regards to me I'm in it most weekends!!!

Just read your post CH.W .You know (well you don't really) it's 50 years ago when I went to your pub. Well, you know(with the same Proviso) It seems like yesterday and yesterday is lost to my memory :D Ask Whelley Warrior I'm sure he knows what I mean. Hope you stick with the forum. CP is very knowledgable about RL and if you disagree with him he doesn't take it personal (why he even puts up with my bad spelling. He's OK Hope to see more of your posts. Just promise me one thing you wont put IMO after them :D Only kidding.

The Jaffa cake discussion was a bit unusual but was started by a listener to the programme and whilst it was unusual it was no big deal and infinitely preferable to listening to Eddie & Stevo telling us how the game should be reffed, how this that and the other should have been a penalty and how the coach will be furious. Wish FM commentary is also streets ahead of listening to Jack Dearden telling us he is being perfectly honest and that we are listening to BBC radio Manchester with monotonous regularity. Give me Wish FM every time. Joe gets a bit excited sometimes and it feels like he might spilt my ear drums but I can't knock him for his enthusiasm so no big deal - carry on lads you're doing a great job :D
Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Regardless if it was on Radio or not i want an Independent Inquiry to find our once and for all are they Cakes or Biscuits.

There for if its a Biscuit then they need to be called Jaffa Biscuits if its found out its a cake. Then move the buggers to the cake sections in shops please.

So much confusion of a technical tax dodge.
