Radio coverage v Hull
Bilko is summarising the commentary from Hull as ever on Wish FM tonight with Joe Mills. However, coverage is not on FM Radio tonight due to Latics Play Off .
So coverage will be from 7:30pm with build up and Full Commentary via Wish FM's online streams or via the Wish FM apps.
Ways to listen or links to download the apps are here:

In the pre match we'll hear from both coaches, Scott Taylor and Bilko hopes to be chatting to ex 1990s Wigan player Craig Murdock as well.

Whatever happened to Billy McGinty's pineapple?
Re: Radio coverage v Hull
Coverage of Latics is on 5Live and Sky yet both WISH and Radio Manchester have chosen to broadcast the football over the radio and only make the rugby coverage available on line.
IT'S RIDICULOUS!!!

Listening to the game live on line Wish FM, must admit the commentators put Stephenson & Hemmings to shame.doc wrote:Coverage of Latics is on 5Live and Sky yet both WISH and Radio Manchester have chosen to broadcast the football over the radio and only make the rugby coverage available on line.

Then again, they almost missed that try talking about Jaffa cakes.

No worse than the gruesome twosome discussing Sir Kev ad infinitum ... and far more entertaining when you are a long way from home like meThen again, they almost missed that try talking about Jaffa cakes.

Hats off to the commentary on Wish FM - pure entertainment. Turn the sound down in future on sky and listen to Bilko and Joe. How you can get a discussion on Jaffa Cakes introduced into a commentary on Rugby League was pure class. However the comment on the commentary box being so far away from the pitch it has a different post code had us lot in stitches. Keep up the good work.

No offence but you are both talking bollocks. If Eddie and Stevo had wasted minutes of a commentary on jaffa cakes then you would have heaped criticism upon them.Kittwazzer wrote:Well said!Charnock_Warrior wrote:Hats off to the commentary on Wish FM - pure entertainment. The best commentators commentate on the game. Tonight they were trying too hard to mimic the worst commentators.

None taken I'm sure. Its a small local radio station and I'm glad of any commentary. No offence but switch the f***ing thing off if it upsets you so much!cpwigan wrote:No offence but you are both talking bollocks.Kittwazzer wrote:Well said!Charnock_Warrior wrote:Hats off to the commentary on Wish FM - pure entertainment. The size of the station is irrelevant. If Stevo talks bollocks about Jaffa Cakes he would get slated and likewise if local radio commentators talk bollocks about jaffa cakes they deserves exactly the same unless we are being hypocritical.
