Wigan 2016 winning the league, but losing in both finals and there's plenty on here would be looking for Wanes head on a block.

Lost the CC in minutes, lost a GF in the last 20 mins. In both, they could have won. Arguably it is something to be proud of is it not?TrueBlueWarrior wrote:They might have played better rugby on a more consistent basis resulting in more entertainment and ultimately deservedly winning the LLS! But how losing 2 major finals can be classed as more successful than winning the GF is mind blowing!!cpwigan wrote:Of course any Wire fan would have loved to have won either the CC or the GF but week in week out Wire have would you not say been more successful / entertaining?
They have ultimately failed miserably and been found wanting AGAIN!!
I have never been proud of losing, maybe that's why they lose so much, because they are still proud to lose!cpwigan wrote:Lost the CC in minutes, lost a GF in the last 20 mins. If we had had the identical season to Wire, would you have been proud still? No, you would have been on here slaughtering every man and his dog associated with the club!!
So did we have a better season in 2012 than this season.cpwigan wrote:Of course any Wire fan would have loved to have won either the CC or the GF but week in week out Wire have would you not say been more successful / entertaining?

627 scoots from dummy half in the season
Another 36 on Saturday.
It's like going back to when we had one trick Mick at Wigan. It's the most one dimensional form of rugby. Who's had the better season, it's the team playing for the World Club Championship next February. John Monie once said "Great teams aren't great all the time, just when they need to be"
