He has always looked better at LF when playing in the reserves rather than prop. Can't see him shifting Ellis on current form but we need some back up.

Chan doesn't seem to have the size to play prop. I know they are all 'middles' these days but I'd say you still expect the props to be the strongest ball carriers while LF can offer something different. For me his biggest problem is he's quite erratic, both in terms of his actual play and the way he can get wound up and lose focus. Consistency is key for anyone who plays loose forward for us and that's Chan's biggest weakness. Getting dropped by Hull FC wasn't exactly a ringing endorsement of his performances this year so it will be interesting to see if he gets a chance next season or if we're looking to move him on. Sam Eseh definitely seemed to have the more successful loan spells.
