Sam T for five years at a better contract must have taken a good chunk of this surely.

Don't want Graham, he's not brilliant, goes to ground easily and it seems from other rumours on here, is a trouble causer if the coach tries to make him work hard and we can be pretty certain Maguire will make them work very hard.
Surely his work rate & yards gained speak for themselves Exile.

Everytime a big signing has happenend in Super League he has told me a couple of weeks in advance and he has been bang on everytime. He is very friendly with a number of current and ex Wigan players and I take it this is where he gets his info.

I have no reason to disbelieve him whatsoever has everybit of his information has been correct in years gone by.

I think we have to accept James Graham will no longer be a Saint by a week on Saturday. I for one am gutted about this as we will be losing the best Prop in Super League by a country mile.

I just dont see what the hype is about Graham - sure he's good but he aint world class. All he does is tip the ball on 4 out of 5 drives - he plays Prop like a lock forwards game. Tomkins took more tackles than him against the Kiwis on Sat. Id much rather see a rampaging forward like Moi Moi or Burgess.

Must disagree here League_Fan.
Was Graham not selected as the worlds best prop in 2008.
OK he doesnt make rampaging runs like Moi Moi, but his workrate is as good as any forward in Rugby League.
He would be my first choice prop of any of the nations.
Definititely a world class in my eyes.
And I certainly hope that he is signing for Wigan next season.

Ok but. Moi Moi isn't gonna come to Wigan and Burgess is going down under.
If you look at the OPTA Stats for the 2009 season, Graham made 4713 metres which was the most anyone did. That's awesome in itself but when you compare it to the person who came second in the 'metres made' category, which was Jamie Peacock with 3933 metres, you realise just how much work he gets through. He's also made over 100 carries more than anyone else.
I appreciate that he's not a perfect player but when you compare him to our current props, he would be invaluable at Wigan IMO.
As for a 'rampaging forward'........ FEKA anyone??!!

This has been a fascinating topic, but is now redundant.
However according to the official Rugby League website St Helens have announced their squad numbers for 2010, and I'll let you guess who's at number 10!
