I will go with whatever the club decide re Hock. If they have him back fair enough but if they decide not to I won't think it's the end of the world either and I think that is still the more likely option.

There is a lot of water to pass under the bridge before he can play again and with the likes of Mossop, Farrell, JT and HH in the side already there is a lot of competition for places.

Mossop is already on a five year deal. I am sure no one wants JT to leave, likewise Farrell and HH looked the part before he was injured. And that is before we consider any other 2nd row player who may emerge.

So when you put that lot on the table I don't think it's a certainty the club will give him another deal. After all none of those players took drugs and got banned for two years and the younger ones will hopefully be improving while Hock can only keep fit.

2 years is along time to be out of the game, there is no guarantee that he will be able to perform to the standard the game WILL BE AT when he is allowed to play again.
He always had the potential to be the best, but, for me,he didn't show it enough.
I hope he proves me wrong.

Definitely agree with that point. If Greg Bird and Ben Cockayne can still play in the professional game, so should Gaz after his ban. Of the 3, I know who's pint I would prefer to knock over!

At the end of the day Gaz is a very ordinary lad who can get misled quite easily if with the wrong people. Since his ban he has reaslly invested time, money and effort into changing. He train/works with an ex forces man who not only addresses conditioning but also mental life skills etc.

Thereare umpteen lads who have made mistakes and regret it but most given the chance come back stronger. Jon Clark is an excellent example.

He is probably doing more training than ever before WW and he is injury free, healthy and bassically have a 2 year pre season which as we all know the coaches/players crave for a longer pre season.
