Not good enough simple as that. Bradford would be a decent move.

It really annoys me when things like this happen. Putting out lies in the press is not good enough from our club IMO whether he knew it was a load of tripe or not.josie andrews wrote:Right, to put an end to all this speculation & rumours.
Feka has been told his contract won't be renewed, he was told this several weeks ago, so the report last Thursday in the post was a load of lies when it said he would be playing & it would be for a contract!
He knew he was playing in the under 20's on the Tuesday.
If he knew on Tuesday what on earth was the point of having him the 19 and warming up with the rest of them? Who are the club trying to kid?
I am not sure how that would work. The way the salary cap works is Feka's wage for the whole season would disappear off our salary cap and all be lumped onto Bradford's. (This way of working was discussed at length when we signed Gleeson). So Bradford would have to be able to accommodate his full wage on their cap. Which means it's a big thing to sign a player mid-season but if they have the room fair enough. There have been several clubs interested in him & several weeks ago, Bradford asked Wigan, that if they weren't going to play Feka in the first team, could they buy out the rest of his contract & for him to play the rest of this season for them, Bradford.
Feka refused to do this as he doesn't want to leave the club this way as he feels it wouldn't be fair to the rest of his team mates or to the many fans who have given him support why he has been here. He has said that if he has to play the rest of the season in the under 20's then that is what he will do.
I don't think he is doing himself or the club any favours though. His loyalty won't be repaid by first team appearances and if there is a club who wants him now I'd go to where I was wanted and was being offered a wage based on being in demand rather than being an unemployed out of contract player come the end of the season.
It won't be a popular move with many fans who don't dissect the players and the game the way it tends to happen on here. Part of watching the game is being entertained and players like Feka get fans like those kids interested and fired up even if they are not the best players. My son is now old enough to realise sometimes his favourite players are no longer wanted at the club but he is still very disappointed the way things have gone with Feka. After the 20's game on Saturday, two small boys approached Feka & asked him 'Are you going to be at Wigan next year, &, if not, where will you be playing?'
He replied that he didn't know yet.
Both sulking then said that it wasn't fair that he was leaving, & that it should be Pryce & not you Feka!!
What is the saying 'Out of the mouth of babes..........'
Ironically he will be disappointed if Pryce goes as well because he likes the idea of him tramping over the opposition if he ever gets up to speed (you can see the theme developing!). I guess what it boils down to is he doesn't like the idea we will have a team of same-sized cloned players in every position and like many he enjoys the side having some individual characters in it.

Pally has repeatedly failed to meet his fitness targets set by the club which explains why he is not being given a new contract. Those children will be screaming Lima instead of Feka.

I don't have a problem with him going, what really annoys me is the press quote from McGuire (assuming it was an accurate and direct quote, which is how it was reported).
That, as far as I'm concerned, is a blatant lie from the club, and shows we're little better than we were in the "bad old days" (without naming names).

I am confused why believe a fan called Josie Andrews and not the club. She could be lying or have been lied to by friends, even Pally ?

At least we can start to invite people round to our house again.
Took my 6 year old daughter to watch the Catalans and Saints matches recently. She loved it but now it's like having a mini Father Jack in the house constantly shouting "FEKA".

“Usually the fans that abuse players like Sam have never done anything of any note themselves. They’re nobodies, whose greatest claim to fame is abusing someone who has, and these so-called ‘Eddie the Experts’ pretend to their mates that they have."

How do you know it is correct. The person telling you the information could be lying to you or telling you only half the story. Surely your not gullible and do not expect to be right every time?josie andrews wrote:Because I only post correct information thats WHYBrian McTigue wrote:I am confused why believe a fan called Josie Andrews and not the club. Well I would sooner believe the person who told me rather than anything you have posted so farBrian McTigue wrote:How do you know it is correct.
