Surely tonight's team means Feka is on his way out?
No place for Feka, paul Prescott and Lee Mossop preferred,
No problems with Mossop, but I don't think Prescott is any better than Feka, and nowhere near as good going forward.
But I'm not the coach and Maguire sems to doing a great job, so.....? Adios Feka?

I agree 'Feka must be on his way out but Prescott is no better than average and i cannot understand why he should be retained and Feka let go. MM has done a good job up till now but we are out of the challenge cup and if we do not win the GF(which imo we are not yet good enough) then questions will be asked.I really believe that if we had 3 good props Feka would be a luxury as an impact prop that we coud afford and we could go on to win the GF.However the only decent prop we have is Coley, and Fielden and Prescott are not up to the job.exile in Tiger country wrote:No place for Feka, paul Prescott and Lee Mossop preferred,

To say he's not good enough is pretty ridiculous.old hooker wrote:I agree 'Feka must be on his way out but Prescott is no better than average and i cannot understand why he should be retained and Feka let go. As for Prescott, he's not had the best of seasons but he's been much better over the last few games and tonight both he and Fielden were excellent.
I'd have Prescott ahead of Feka for any game. He may not be a better metre maker, but he's miles ahead in defensive capabilities and has great handling for a prop too.
hes always said it though, hes as clueless as the old hooker on sky
Re: Surely tonight's team means Feka is on his way out?
FEKA IS SH!T get a grip Ive just watched him in the U21's and I dont think he should play for them either he is stopping the development of a younger player. Likewise Pryce. Prescott is head and shoulders better than Feka!!!
Re: Surely tonight's team means Feka is on his way out?
Ithought it was adone deal that Feka was out at the end of the season .Idont think its aproblem with Fekas attack its his defence that MM dosent like and all Aussie coaches are big on defence
Re: Surely tonight's team means Feka is on his way out?
Well it was in the paper Madge was saying Coley being out was Feka's chance to prove he deserved a new contract but Geoff said on rlfans he was reliably informed he would not play.
Mind you we heard the same "play for a contract" tripe with Higham when the club clearly had no intention of offering him one.
I think it is a failing on Madge's part not to work out how to use Feka and/or get him to be the player he wants.
I also think if we try and play Wire with the pack we had out last night we don't stand a chance. A run out against Salford for Feka then play against Wire is IMO what was/is needed because you have to use your squad and make the best of it. Feka is in the squad and with Coley out we need someone bigger than Prescott and more experienced than Mossop alongside Fielden.
With Coley out Madge is only playing with two recognised props and that is no good IMO.

I would have thought that the difference between Feka and Prescott was most likely the size of their pay packets.
That said I think that the Salford game was a perfect opportunity to see if Feka could be used next week

What makes you think he hasn't tried? Feka looks much fitter than previous seasons but he is still a liability in defence which is what MM will focus on the most. If Feka doesn't suit the teams style then tough, he has to go.DaveO wrote:I think it is a failing on Madge's part not to work out how to use Feka and/or get him to be the player he wants.

Prescott has been solid this year, some of the comments on here about him have been ridiculous.Feka may have lost weight but his stamina hasn't improved at all if you ask me he still starts puffing and panting far too soon after coming on.

If Fielden and Prescott are as good as some on here are saying, why are Morley,Peacock ,Graham,Crabtree,Carvell,Mcarthy Scarsbrook,Watts,Burgess(Luke) etc mentioned in front of them?Considering most other props are either over the hill or not eligible that shows how good they are.Fielden is a donkey and Prescott is no better now than he was 3 seasons ago.
