Anyhow keep up the good work and if Brian and Geoff get out of hand. Ring the care home!!!
CP , they got the collecting slot as it was a play off game and a new charity slot became available due to the extra home game, i hope something can be arranged to allow an official collection again, are you coming to the do in nov @ spring view mate ?

No Ste.

I hope they get a slot though as in a way it is a win / win for Wigan fans. The DW was a bit cold looking before the Ultras got together.

what we need is a flag that completely covers the South Stand that they can move up and down just before kick off the one we use at the moment is way to small
Wigan is and always will be a town of Cherry & White

Wouldn't have thought so mate, like Ste said, we dropped lucky with that day because no charities were lined up. We did well out of the collection and that will fund several flags. I think the South Stand gantry will look better next year because we'll have better quality flags across the length of the stand. There are 3 or 4 poor quality ones up there at present and we can now replace them.

Once the money is ready, it probably takes 3 to 4 weeks for design, production & collection. We are ordering one this weekend, 12 x 6 ft plain red flag with white lettering which says:

ARROGANCE IS INHERITED
THROUGH SUCCESS
19 TIMES CHAMPIONS

It's a bit arrogant but what the hell, if you've got it flaunt it!! (the company can change 19 to 20 next year too!)

Could you not go round away games with a small bucket asking for donations, im sure you could raise £100 minimum at terraced stadiums.

Yeah, that was done a few times last season at the likes of Wrexham & Widnes and we bought one or two on the back of that.

The ones you have bought come across as very good quality. I like the variation from pictures to words/phrases etc. Any plans for an Ellery flag?

The ones we have bought this past year are very good quality. Ones like the Higgy tribute flag are falling to pieces because they are made of cheap plastic. That will be replaced.

I prefer the phrase/slogan style of flag, others prefer pictues. Like you say, it's a good mix.

A Hanley flag? Would be great. A Brett Kenny one looks like it's next up

i might get:

" if i hadn't seen such riches i could live with being wire" done in the close season would have to be an away flag though as the club would not allow it up
