Castleford tonight
Re: Castleford tonight
One cannot doubt Smith for effort but largely he is simply someone there to pass the ball on. Rarely, does he throw the 'money' pass or make some amazing run.

Ironically Mike, I think (only think because it's a big call) that we should do away with VR and live and die by the decision on the pitch as more often than not VR can cause even more controversy!!Mike wrote:I doubt anything was referred to the video ref last night.TrueBlueWarrior wrote:Same old story though, in the speed and moment of the game forward passes are difficult to call and cannot be referred to VR, knock ons can!!cpwigan wrote:Ours were not exactly without doubt either. I would have disallowed the one from the Mossop pass. It matters not, the result will be there on Monday.

Re: Castleford tonight
I enjoyed the match on Friday. I enjoy going with my Dad and, usually, my boy. The family and community aspect is important to me. Of course, I want to win and see a good game. I loved going to CP and all the away games when I was young in the 1980s. The atmosphere was great and we were lucky to have the big name players. It's a shame my son doesn't experience that.
I agree with the posters who said that Cas were never on side. And Luke Gale was faking and playing up to Bentham. Very annoying.

A message for anyone who finds negatives in all circumstances from someone who may well be your hero:

"Cheer up" they said "Things could be worse."
So I cheered up and, sure enough, things got worse!

When you have John Bateman in your team you always have a chance regardless of the team you put out . Words cant't describe how good this lad is . He was blowing out of his backside after an hour but never took a backward step and got better as the game went on . Unbelievable performance tonight .But there again no more than you would expect from this lad he is "THAT GOOD"

Best signing from Bradford since Hanley ????????
When Lockers finally retires, I will have to break my promise to McIlorum cos it will be Bateman on the back of my shirt ????????
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
