Tom Briscoe Done Deal??

Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

How much truth there is in it is another matter.
Josie - just ask Rads when you next see him.
No!

Theres a bit off gamesmanship going on here.seems there are 3 clubs after is signiture.Win lose or draw Friday imo there will be no announcement regarding his arrival because it may never happen. If our past history under IL is anything to go by we are miles behind not only in bidding war but the players prefrence to stay in Yorkshire. When you think about this logicaly surely the best time if he was signed up would be when your announcing you are letting your best asset go.IMO would not hold your breath with this one.

Very much KITD, Bowen AND Briscoe were needed to counter Sam which suggests sadly it may not happen. Shame if it does not though.

If we lose Friday and he has signed it will be announced the week after. If we win (and he has signed) his signing will be kept in reserve in case we lose the GF.

I agree. I think IL seems to lack the power of persuasion Mo had and before anyone says Mo's power of persuasion was simply a cheque book it wasn't. He was a great salesman for the club but understood it still needed selling to prospective players despite it being Wigan. I think IL thinks because it is Wigan that's enough and it's not.

I am convinced IL is trying to counter any bad news with good and so this gives me some hope Briscoe is being held in reserve to counter a loss v Leeds or loss in the GF.

Briscoe is the type of player we should be signing. Given the salary cap available next year we should be able to better any offer on the table.
