It's not just a difference of opinions on here though, it's adifference of characters.

You see, as I've said before we're very 50 50 split. There are those that can't see any positives in the team coach management or current position and there are those that can. Those that can are saying "Why can't you see the positives?" and those that can't are saying "Why can't you see the negatives?"

Just because you have been watching the sport for 20,30 or 40 years longer does not make your opinion anymore valid than mine. I was not physically able to watch that team, my dad on the other hand was and he has not once called for Betts head or blamed it on Mo or Whelan, he is willing to see both the positive and negatives to how we've been playing recently. He doesn't go on about how we're gonna thrash Leeds but neither do he go on about how we're going to be thrashed by them.

So saying, listen i've been watching them 500 years I've seen the good and the bad, we haven't won in 3 games and this is Mos fault is no more "realistic" or "down to earth" than what anyone else on this board has to say. In the end, anyone with an opinion of any type is being down to earth. People see things differently, and sorry to disappoint everyone but not one person on this board is actually right in anything they're saying. Opinions are not right or wrong.
A career in the diplomatic core beckons, I fancy :D

sorry mrs lam would have to disagree with you here. For example my flatmate said last year he doesnt think Jason Robinson is a good player. Now thats his opinion, but he is wrong. Why? because he has only seen him a handful of times, and also he knows very little about either code of rugby. So he is not very wise when it comes to rugby, therefore his opinion doesnt really carry much weight. the 'my opinion' arguement can be banded about but at the end of the day when you now nothin about the subject the opinion is pretty worthless is it not?

Now dont get me wrong im not saying certain people on the board know nothng, but i do reckon a lot of people criticising are right even if some are OTT.

the team is pretty crappy at the moment, and it is commendable that some fans are trying to just see the positives and get behind their side.

But the positive thinkers have to see the reality of the situation. changes are needed. If Real madrid/AC Milan/Man Utd were performing management coaching and playerwise as wigan are, heads would role. if a player does not perform at these clubs he is out. maybe thats not the perfect comparison, but these clubs are at and around the top of their leagues. they have had success and want more success, they wont settle for anything less. i dont see that there should be any difference in wigans thinking. im not talking about winning everything, but being able to compete at the very top

Ok I'll list, IMO who I would keep as true top Wigan plagers to spearhead a revolution, it's not a big list :-
Radlinski
Moran
Newton
Godwin
O'Laughlin
Hock
Tickle

Told you it was short, but after these I really think therest would struggle to get into a Wigan team of say 5 years ago !

This is why I feel so angry, its not just a rebuilding job, its total reconstruction !!

Give Moran a chance, hes had 1 of the worse packs in SL to play with let him have a go with a quality pack next season.

So Moran is a bad player then. It seems we give some a chance like Brown, Melling and do not give some like Moran, Orr, Vaeliki a chance.

Moran was a class act at London. You can not play on the backfoot as this is what is happening now.

Oh and by the way if we had Lam or Edwards wed still struggle with the pack we have today.

They are not making any yards at the moment. The only time we got out of our own half in the second half at the Bulls was when Dallas made a break.

That pack you have on here is too small to be efective all game. We need real quality in the pack. Out of the 7 you mentioned only 2 would make the bull starting line up Newton and Tickle and that says a lot as 4 would of theirs would make our 1st team and their bench had Meyers and Vagana on it. Our props can not match them.
