Maybe Charnley could chase a few sheep on the farm to get fit & kill 2 birds with one stone, boy can they side step.
Sounds positive but doesn't mean a thing and is irrelevant. Nobody knows how he is going to react to going to Australia, how he is going to perform, if he will want to stay, contract extensions etc.

False hope and promise.

I can only post what his father said, and he knows his son better than anyone. Being homesick is a terrible feeling ask Sam Tomkins and Sam Burges more mature players you would expect to see it out, and how many Aus players return home. I was in Aus 6 months and 40 degrees heat is not as good as it sounds, I was glad to come home.

I spent an hour and a half in St Helens and felt the same way!

IL in his last Wigan TV fans questions was asked about Charnley .He said talks were on going but difficult as Charnley was not getting his spot in the team it looks like what Josie has said that he was offered less money.

Don't worry. IL will guarantee his return and he'll come back with a long term injury. Call me a cynic after all these years.

I have been cynical about this from the word go. All the players who have come back have done so because things didn't work out for them elsewhere for one reason or another.

None of them have had great success elsewhere or have wanted to return like Sam for personal reasons. Had they had the success or adjusted to living overseas they would not be back yet the way IL has gone on when interviewed when one has come back it's is if he is saying "I told you so". He quite clearly claims these players returning is a vindication of his policy of letting them go in the first place.

It's not and he must think we were all born yesterday.

If James Graham ever returns to play in SL for Saints it won't be when he is in his prime. He is at his peak now and clearly loves it in the NRL and is earning a fortune so as long as he can get a contract in the NRL he will be staying. He's not coming back any time soon and neither will Budgie be if things work out for him.
