Farrell’s defence should help on the right and if Nsemba can get some early ball from Smith he will be unstoppable.
It was done deliberate so the defence was better with Farrell. John Duffy said it adds to Nsemba’s learning curve or something similar 😊

Seemed to work well to me. Farrell solidified the right, and Nsemba was a threat on the left.

Very harsh. He's worked hard and done some really good stuff in defence and granted, made one mistake but he's been much improved tonight
He was fine tonight.

Neither did I. I've seen people saying, how come Leigh are so far down the table when they can play like that? But maybe over the season, they've let in too many soft tries like they did tonight; their defence was really appalling. And perhaps that's why they are where they are. It's no good showing a threat in attack in the last 15 if you're already so far behind. Have to say, though, until I see a replay, I couldn't see what was wrong with that Leigh disallowed try. But obviously, at the stadium, I didn't have the benefit of Sky's expert commentary! :P
You could see clear separation between hand and ball but I agree on another night it would have been given,Leigh are an odd one for sure that squad should be higher up the league than they are but something is soft with them need to be smarter to push on and become not contenders but a top 4 side consistently

I think Hampshire was only serviceable, really, Charriots. A few nice touches, yes, but overall, not great. It's probably pie-in-the-sky, but I can't help but think of teams like Melbourne, and a few others in the NRL too, who have a young speedster with great foot-work, and they just bung him on with 15 to go, and say, just run at that tired defence, and it's amazing how often it brings a try, and I wonder if MP would ever be bold enough to try that with Farrimond. But probably not.

I doubt I was the only one who thought Leigh might win tonight especially given Field was out. They have had some good results lately such as the Saints win. A 22-0 at half time would not have been a score I expected. So they must have been too inconsistent over the season to state the obvious.

That first half was probably the most pleasing aspect of the game - the fact we had a great first half and didn't need to wake up to go on and win the game like we have done more than once this season. That and watching a proper No 9 performance. ;)

The disallowed try was because as he lost it, it hit smiths hand then he got his hand back on the ball before touching down.It threw me at first until i noticed smiths hand underneath.Great defence and extra effort off smith. The lad would probably have scored without the showboating

Well I said straight away he’d lost the ball

Also I said we would win this game yesterday morning, 10.47 to be exact.
In fact the actual words I used to Matt Peet were "They will be up for it, as usual, but we will be ready for them, we’ve got this tonight” 😊
